My sister and I grew up with these awesome wooden toys made by “Ostheimer Figures”, a company in Germany.
For those of you who have heard about “Waldorf Education”, these wooden toys can be found at Waldorf schools across the world. I went to a Waldorf pre-school.  http://www.whywaldorfworks.org/02_W_Education/index.asp
While in San Francisco, I was delighted to stumble across them at a small toy store. However I was not delighted at how expensive each one costs ($13 - $32)! Thankfully, my mom has saved most of ours, which is such a treat. Cannot wait to go through the box of toys from my childhood when we visit my parents in March.
I’m so excited to pass down these special wooden toys to our baby to play with :)
