STEP 4: Nursery curtains.
When the glider cushions were finished, Heather whipped up the curtains.
After spending hours literally sitting in the fabric store, trying to match the green striped walls and the blue coral glider fabric, to a curtain fabric, I gave up. I can’t even imagine how people design entire houses with tons of curtains, chairs, couches, etc.!
This green fabric is left over from two chairs my Grandmother had in her Florida home. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my mom still had several yards in her attic for me to use! We had just enough for the curtains.

My “sous chef” job: Cuting off the white edge :)

Putting together the final touches!

Finished :)

I had bought way too much blue coral fabric, so we figured why not use the rest to make another set of curtains. Since it’s so dark, it will be great when the baby is a newborn, and sleeping during the day.
Early Monday morning, Heather whipped up the second set of curtains. And the thick fabric definitely made her work for it. She is Wonder Woman!

Finished!

Friends :)
